Now obviously Jackson is not physically walking around the white house he still seems to have a large influence. Recently our president trump toured Andrew Jacksons home and said he relates with our former president. While many called him out for this comment I do see quite a few similarities in the two. Jackson much like Trump had a bit of a grudge against a certain group of people aka the native Americans, much like trumps grudge with the Mexican citizens. ( They don't wanna pay for the wall, who can blame them) Jackson forcibly removed Indians from their homeland and shipped them off to a place they have never been, sounds a bit familiar? Trump is taking illegal immigrants that were born in America or brought over at a very young age whos parents were also illegals and sending them "back to Mexico" even though they have never been there before.
So both presidents have a bit of history of legally sending people away to homes they have never been. Andrew Jacksons influence still ring through the halls of congress, plus the whole twenty dollar bill debacle that's an article all on its own. Many people see trump as following in Jacksons footsteps which may not be as good of a thing as some people hope.
